Mission Statement

Inspire Light’s mission is to create a safe sanctuary for new mothers who have endured the hardships of human sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. We believe in the power of holistic healing, education, employment, community, and agricultural living as pathways to reintegrate survivors with themselves, and their families.

Vision

Inspire Light sees new mothers recovering from the traumas of human sex trafficking to create better lives for themselves and their children’s futures. Our goal is to share education and natural resources for sustainable options that encourage survivors belonging to self, family, and community.    

New Mother Survivors of Human Sex Trafficking Include:

  • Pregnant women over 18 years old.

  • Women over 18 with up to 2 children in their care under 3 years old.

    Where Are We Now?

    As of December 2024 we filed our 1023’s to start the registration process for the 501 (c) (3) status! This process may take 4 to 6 months to become recognized as a tax- deductible organization.

    Going into 2025 Inspire Light’s board is cultivating a campaign to serve survivors with law enforcement and out reach as we grow our long term mission. The Teddy Bears and Bracelets for Awareness and Resources Campaign  aims to distribute 500 teddy bears and customized bracelets to at-risk communities, providing hidden lifelines to those in need. The bracelets and teddy bear t-shirts are custom designed to be inconspicuous to traffickers. We will distribute these items in marginalized communities, homeless camps, non-health communities, and areas where trafficking victims may be present. We are creating partnerships with outreach volunteer programs and law enforcement  to ensures that mothers and children in need have access to resources as options to receive assistance in a discreet and safe manner.
